I am always looking for new things to do. As a teacher, coach, and homeowner I am always looking for deals and new ways to make things unique. I especially love making and building things. Scrapbooking, jewelry, and painting are just a few of things I love to do! This is about the journey of creating things that make my many environments reflect me! Also, it is a way to help others learn how to find/do things that represent themselves and at a low price.

What's in a name
So it's been hard to get creative with teaching and coaching, but I was able to paint and stamp my nephews name for his nursery. I used making memory paint, close to my heart stamps, and copics and smooch to color the animals. I'm still debating if I like them but my sister likes them, so I guess that's all that matters. I'll have to take another picture to show the close up!

Baby Monthly Calender
I have been back to working on my nephews baby book and I found a cute little Santa acrylic stamp for his December calender. I didn't do anything special. I did simple copic coloring with flock. But I still came out cute. I need to get better with using copics. I have found the blog 'I Like Markers' that has great tips. If you like using copic's I would definitely visit the blog. ilikemarkers.blogspot.com

Where do I find the time???
Well, as a teacher and a Michigander, Labor Day has now come and soon will go, which means it's back to school I go. Here's the only problem, where do I fit time in to scrap with everything else going on. Aside from teaching I also coach a fall and spring sport which gets me home by six and I am working on my Educational Specialist degree. So how do I sneak in time, and quality time to do the one thing that relaxes me? How does anyone? We seem to always be go go go it seems.

How do we choose????
Thanks for all the comments and support yesterday!
Cleaning my house and straightening my scrap room, I was thinking about my wish list and I know everyone has a wish list. My problems though is that there are so many great products and companies out there, I never know which way to go. So usually what ends up tipping the scale is a SALE! So what are you favorite products and companies???
Here are a few of my to picks......Copics, Cricut, Cuttlebug, My Favorite Things, The Greeting Farm, Magnolia, Sugar Nellies, C.C. Designs, and Twinkling H20's are just a few.
Let me know yours...I love discovering new products!

Let's get this started....finally!
Well, I have been trying to figure out a cleaver way to start my blog, and well I never got one and now months later, I still have no blog. So I am biting the bullet and getting it started. When it comes to scrapbooking , I do it all, but right now I am putting together a baby book for my sister who is due in November. Here is one of the first layouts I have put together and there will be many more to come.
